Laengen apperently lost his podium position because he was dehydrated. He had no teammates left who could bring him water and they hadn't placed any soigneurs along the road like the other teams had.

Pretty silly way to lose not only a 2nd place overall but probably also a pro-contract.

Wasn't he third before that stage? There goes your prediction by the way! Sorry about that.

Hold on there horsey... there are still some stages to go. And the classification is really close. I wouldn't say this GC is set.

Indeed.

amazing performance by the entire colombian team despite horrible bad luck with quintana, who was stuck behind a train and then in queenstage was hit by a car 30 k from the finish after giving his wheel to chavez, who had a flat.

the final stage the colombians tore down the hills, with quintana on the 2nd category climb, pulling even too hard for chavez. then rodriguez took over. quintana did the flatter parts, with only like 8 guys remaining among boily who was almost blowing. on the final 4th category climb rodriguez accelerated with chavez and only 2 others could follow, boily blew and that was it. excellent teamwork and tactics from the colombians!
