It will be initresting if Barguil and Boswell are 1 and 2, and then their future and development as GC contenders is screwed because they'll ride for Argos

But yeah, go Olivier!

Boswell will ride for Argos?

No, Goos hasn't been selected. I don't think he ever has been, by Vierhouten.

Yeah, as a trainee from 16/08 ( so basically he's an Argos rider already )

Barguil is overrated.

Boswell, Colombians and Cattaneo for me... then on the second row Olivier, Chernetski etc, also expect Steigmiller

the colombians are coming with a squad so horrible they are lucky to win a stage

Lutsenko? Are you kidding?

Ehhh look at his results, mostly ends up near the front in difficult/reduced sprints I think

I mean he's a very good rider, and much more than just a sprinter, but looking at his CQ results, he never competes for a GC, he's definitely not climbing wel enough to do anything for the GC here.........

Indeed. He's a fast guy who can survive hills. But not mountains.

Marc Goos should probably be here; but he's mainly a TTer who can climb right? So the Netherlands just selected Olivier for the GC, who is a climber, because there is only a prologue for TTers, but severall difficult mountain stages.

Goos is the second best U23 climber in Holland, and he should have been there. It's a very climby parcours, now Olivier will be on his own pretty early in some stages.

Alas, Vierhouten preferred to take three sprinters, and two reasonable allrounders. Maybe he's their manager, who knows.
