Vierhouten made a questionable selection last year as well. I don't like him. He has too many of his own interests
Indeed. He's both manager and national coach, talk about a conflict of interest. Plus from his analyses on the radio it's clear he has an unhealthy dislike for Rabobank, this also seems to influence his selection policy quite a bit.

Why is that? After winning the last two editions of this race you'd think everybody would be willing to send a good team.

the strong teams don't want to lend out their young riders and the team that won every year and is thus invited, colombia es passion/472 have horrible riders this year

wellens a gc guy? lol

Why not? He did it nice in Toscana. These are my favourites, at first obviously Daan Olivier. Daan dit it very well in L'ain and finished in the top5 of the GC. Then Warren Barguil, the new Argos guy is a good climber as he showed in french races. Ian Boswell, , great Tour of Utah with Dombrowski. Mattia Cattaneo, good Giro Bio last year. In a second level my bets are Chertnetskiy, surprising Giro Valle D'Aosta, Carlos Verona and maybe Tim Wellens, Francesco Manuel Bongiorno, Axel Domont, Paolo Penasa or Steve Bekaert. Sorry. My english is so bad.

Jay McCarthy isn't a sprinter. He'll challenge for the GC - doubt he'll win it but he should show well.

I Know it. The list is not mine. I bet for something like this:
*** Arndt, Ahlstrand, Wippert
** Van Poppel, Hofland, Sepulveda
* Kamyshev. Norman Hansen

I thought all colombian cyclists could climb and those from Antioquia, or boyaca divinely ordained.for.glory. All these ones.are from the coast or.something?

this is serious or just a stupid troll? there are 3 climbers in this team, that are probably as good as any of the other climbers in avenir, but they suck in most other things and have a horrid team as well. guys like paredes and orjuela are a joke, that they are pros.

He is a GC guy. Maybe you don't think he'll win, that's okay, you are probably right. He is a GC guy however.

Pick only 1 rider who you think will win. If he doesn't, we can all say: Ryo Huzaki LOL.

wellens won't even top ten. so he's no gc guy in my book. we will see. if he does you can lol me.

the most interesting of all riders btw is pieter campero, from bolivia. this man was a priest apprentice since young age as he didn't want anytyhing to do with professional cycling as it was too doped in his mind. he simply trained for fun and before you know it he started kicking everyone's *** in bolivia at age 18 in vuelta camarho. only oscar soliz, the national legend could beat him.

the man suffered from constant moodswings saying he will retire and returning to become a priest(sound familiar with leblanc?). only last winter he had hung up his bike for good after being disapointed by his results in vuelta bolivia claiming his opponents were doped and laughing at the spanish team, simply saying: "I thought spain was a great cycling nation?" (having no idea that it was some spanish amateur team that particpated). then the bolivian federation called to say him that the uci wanted him in their development squad. campero simply said: "who are uci?"

coming from bolivian racing at constant 4000+ his adaption needs to be incredible to play a role here(not for gc). but the course suits him relatively well. I'm very itnerested to see him. he's a raw talent comoletely unheard of. he's totally clueless about anything but god. and he rides like a maniac :D

I also see Antoine Lavieu for the GC. He did a great Giro Valle D'Aosta last year, he kept with Elissonde and Aru in the stage win by Dombrowski.
