Excellent news for Cav that Adam Blythe picked up his first world tour point today.

BMC looks like they've adopted Sky's "finish the sprint train at 1 km" tactic. Well, train is probably to exaggerate, but still.

Not that it matters, Kittel is way, way too quick for anyone in this race.

That's still on'y 6 riders though (I think), need Stannard, Kennaugh, Froome or Cummings to get a top 5 later this week - unlikely - but not completely out of the question.

I think we finally have a rival for Cavendish :) Even more impressive already then Cav's first pro season.

Hate to break it to you but Kittel needs one more win this year to be equal with Cav's first full season tally.

Hate to break it to you, but the season is far from over and I never knew that the guy with the most wins always has the most impressive season. Considering Kittel isn't even in a WT team what he's doing is more impressive already for me.

Guardini is quicker - seriously, there are no genuinely quick sprinters in this race, so its too early to assume anything. Guardini has beaten some decent names. Boonen & Haussler are not top sprinters.

Like in the Tour of Turkey?

I really doubt any of the sprinters were in decent shape back then. Besides Petacchi is old, Farrar is overrated and Greipel couldn't place him self in a sprint if his life depended on it.

Degenkolb used to be faster as well, but look at them now.

I think you need to calm down, Degenkolb, Matthews and Guardini have all had better seasons with wins against better guys, up to this point.

I'd rather beat big names out of shape than no names out of shape.

This is the tour of Poland we're talking about, no one who is any good is peaking either.

You do realize Kittel has just beaten Degenkolb 3 times in a row now huh?

Cav fanboy alert. And Matthews doesn't have a more impressive season than Kittel lol.
