Before the bend Haussler clearly changed lane when looking for Sagan, but in the bend he didn't do anything irregular. Don't think they can relegate HH for the first, minor irregularity.

Haussler was in the middle of the road, untill he saw Sagan coming on his right, and Haussler steered in that direction. There was a big gap before that.

Exactly !!! Haussler is an unfair moron.

There was a bend in the road! Haussler was in the lead and took the best line around the curve, as he's entitled to do.

But he started blocking Sagan before the bend. It wasn't dangerous enough to disqualify him (although barely, it was a small miracle Sagan stayed on his bike), but definitely dirty.

im more worried about the sticking out legs on the barriers, thought they had been outlawed.

THE ROAD TURNED RIGHT AND HAUSSLER TOOK THE BEST LINE!!!

Sagan had to try to squeeze through, but Haussler was not in the wrong.

Now has a six point lead on Feilliu and one second deficit to Martin.
Europsort guys declared Martin as the winner already. So I guess Sagan has no chance to get more second points..

Jesus what is with the whining today? Haussler did what he was supposed to do. He was in the lead and he took the best line through the corner. What's he supposed to do? Take a bad line through the corner so that Sagan can have the better line instead?

I am guessing that a bigger danger for Martin is a potential 2 second split in the peloton even if the finish is not tricky at all.

He has a very real chance to finish in the top 3 and to win. But the Eurosport guys are right that it's a bigger ask than winning the intermediate.

Does anyone think Sagan can Top 3?

Think his best chance is Liquigas pushing it over the closing kilometres and Sagan attacking with 1.5km to go, and forcing Garmin to chase.

Dont think he will get a top 3 in a flat out sprint.

You can do both you know. And in fairness, you don't often get a flat stage where the two sprints will determine overall GC.

Mark my words, the Liquigas train is going to deliver Sagan to win this Tour!!!

Kittel, Degenkolb, Matthews, Feillu, Haussler can beat a Liquigas train, plus they still haven't caught the 2 men out front. I think Sagan could squeeze a Top 3, but he's spent an awful lot of energy the last 2 days, and already today.

Looks like Liquigas have decided to stop throwing their toys out of the pram and join the Mighty V in pursuing the break.

Eurosport replays and Bri Smithy show not much wrong with Haussler's sprint. More fault with Sagan trying to cut through the shortest route......that wasn't actually a route.

roughly 20k

how long till this finish?

p.s. last time a flat stage was this decisive was what? T-A 2010 with garzelli and scarponi?
