Ballan out, TGAK bruised and battered, things don't look good for the BMC boys. Alex looked very strong in stage 1 and the team had him positioned well going into the finale for stage 2.

Definetly possible. Without the ITT in Austria he would of finished 2nd overall. He's climbing quite well and could be a contender. Guys like Scarponi and Martin are bigger favourites than him for the gc here.

Have you seen the difference in speed between Kittel and the rest, including Kristoff, in stage 1? It was the same in stage 2. No way Kristoff would have won. Cut it out

Kristoff doesn't necesarily have the talent like his countryman EBH or like the deutsche monster Kittel. He doesn't have that.. But mark my words he's a hard working dude and big wins will come his way eventually. He's just slowly progressing into the awesome sprinter he will become. I hope he win a stage that would make my month

Veelers did a nearly perfect one-man leadout two days in a row.

It was Veelers? Awesome, that answers that question, he's a quality sprinter in his own right too.

As for the sprint last night, if Haussler was on form he may have been able to hold his pace for longer but even then, doubtful if he'd have gotten past Kittel, that was an epic sprint.

The circuits are always a bit chaotic in Poland... remember the stage Mollema won, with a 90 degree bend right after the finish line, resulting in Bole crashing his way over the finish?
