Impressed by Pinot today, who isn't exactly a TT'er. Hopefully finding his form at last. Can't wait to see him in the big mountains at TDF!

Also very good ride by Costa, who has been really impressive all week. He's a much bigger talent than Machado in my opinion.

Tour of Belgium has 3 flat stages, a hilly stage and a 20km time trial. Sounds boring, one might think, but these flat stages in Belgium are usually very interesting because of the wind that can cause echelons. Last year 2 flat stages of the Tour of Belgium were very entertaining because of this and the hilly stage was very spectacular.

This is also the first year I'm looking forward to the Eneco Tour. For two reasons:

- The Muur in the queen stage.
- The return of Alberto Contador.

In paris-nice this year we had echelons on the windy stage but its still rated as a boring edition.

How fast things can go... at the foot of the climb (after the first downhill part) Mollema had the fastest split time

Is there a place where we can find all times, or is it just a info you have got about Mollema ?

They actually attack in Belgium ;)

The echelon stage was the only one I enjoyed in Paris-Nice anyway.

Season not over yet, Machado is going to podium Vuelta

lol for some reason it says Szmyd came 6th beating Rogers and De Gendt.

Seriously, who really came 6th?

i think that if the race 1 or 2 proper hilly stages that gave the riders an opportunity to attack he could have done even better.

good to see he is finding his place on the 1 week races too tho.

Not many memorable moments from this race. Enjoyed stage 1 finale and today's TT. That's about as much as I can say. You really get the feeling one thougher stage was in demand. Deserved winner nonetheless. Nothing new on the Rui Costa we saw across the week. Today though he really impressed me. Wouldn't expect him to get a 4th place at the TT.

Congratulations to Juan José Cobo (60th overall) and Chris Froome (123rd overall) - by finishing a World Tour race they both scored their first CQ points of the year, and for Cobo, his first points in nearly 17 months of racing at Abarcá.

Please, let this one go, or at least drop the thin veil and take it to the Clinic.

Besides, Froome was pretty impressive this week. He did a lot of excellent work for Wiggins, which wouldn't have escaped your attention, I'm sure.

Sky brought pretty much their top team, Froome and Thomas weren't in startling shape but they're still better domestiques than most teams had as their top domestique let alone 4th and 5th in the pecking order. Cavendish was irrelevant, but the top 3 guys were obviously in very good if not their absolute best form. The course wasn't selective enough to really split the field against a team that strong and that interested in controlling it - even then they almost let it get away from them like in the stage Wiggins won.

If you take far and away the strongest team give them to an event with a course that suits, it's not surprising you win the race comfortably and place two others in the top 5. Part of it was the course, but the lack of real competition was the actual problem.

And considering he work incredibly hard throughout which is proven by his time trial postion which was much higher than his position on GC would have suggested

You are joking...... right?
Yes I am, only trying to attract Ryo Hazuki who always has something to say about Roman, for instance how bad his TT ability has become...what doesn't look like as what we could see.
It looks Roman is in decent form before Giro but still not in top shape. Considering that he was ill before Romandie and finished with antibiotics in wednesday, this was very good performance. He said after TT that he feezed in last 800 metres and lost nearly 15 sec there...what a shame. Nonetheless, good performance and sixth overall is decent. Also he changed his style, active, attacking...if there is one single MTF in Romandie it could be even better. He looks much better this year.
Anyway I lost the bet so here I'm with my new avatar I had to choose myself :) But I'm willing to change it of course :)

No one defends Cobo? The bias shows!

a) No one expects anything from Cobo this year.
b) He didnt do any work and isnt struggling with parasites, rather he just is being Schleck like with his form.

We didn't see Cobo on the front all week, driving the peloton for his team leader, did we?
That's the sort of work Benjamín Noval does. Hardly impressive.

Noval isn't being mocked for his lack of CQ points.

I don't think it's a stretch to point out Froome's form in Romandie was far better than anything else he's shown this year.

Why nobody expects anything from Cobo this year? I can't see it
