Looks like Sweeny did a very good second part, everybody bleeding time after T1.

Sweeny seems to have made the right choice in not switching bikes, while Cattaneo made the worst one by using the TT bike all the way.

Cavagna also lost time to Brenner, but whether that was mostly the bike's or his climbing's fault, I don't know.

Tiberi is one of the very few young Italian riders that I'm actually seeing as a real potential gc rider for the future. He has been coached by the NT since the junior ranks to develop him long term, not just to get the most out of him in the junior or u23 ranks.

What do you guys think will be the best time in the end? Izagirre should already be a good benchmark considering his shape in Itzulia.

Yeah, but Ion also rode all day in the breakaway yesterday, so no idea how much faster the gc riders can go.

Froome lost a lot of time to Knox in the end, but he probably didn't want to embarrass Conti too much after he caught up with him.
