What's going to be the weather for Thyon stage? Lot's of riders struggling with the heat right now. I'm assuming it will be a bit colder there as it's in the mountains?

I don't really follow the UCI point stuff much, are 1000 pts doable for Astana this season?

Sagan would have also dropped today, although in his prime he would have been in the Peloton. Some people on here are saying he‘s faster than Sagan, though.

I imagine the tactical meeting at SQS this morning must have gone something along these lines:

"Listen up guys, you will all be working your asses off, coughing up your lungs at the front, pulling back the break on the climbs. Then, at the top of the steepest climb of 12%, Remco will do nothing. Just over the top, he will attack which nobody except 20 guys will be able to follow. By the time they reach the finish, the peloton will have come back. Sound good?"

That‘s true, it‘s hard to make conclusions about a rider at his age, but so far he hasn‘t really shown that he has the engine on longer climbs or long, hard races. But that‘s true for a lot of 19 year-olds.

Of course it is good to see a stage like today and we have to give credits to Soudal and Remco but if you are a Soudal fan, you have to ask what the hell were they doing today?
UAE in pole position since Vlasov looks awful.

Probably, but I guess if it's mainly a training race for Evenepoel to get in climbing shape it's not the end of the world.

This is all about stage 4. That is a monster stage with a monster MTF. The hardest MTF in this season (or maybe Col de la Loze). UAE team has a super team and I'm almost sure Almeida will win with a 30 seconds gap to everybody.

The chasing group didn't act intelligently.
They should´vve forced Vine to pulling. Now UAE has two riders well positioned for GC. They risked losing to Van Eetvelt, but Vine is better at ITT.
