To me the main question is if Pogi will test his bazooka w/kg tomorrow (9 km at almost 10% is a big wall). There's 25 km of dead flat to the finish but I think he will go for it.

That's not even a question. He'll take 1'30 if not more and then recover easily on the descent (it's a super easy day for most of it) and that's easily enough to bring it home. Fractured groups aren't gonna pull time back.

It's likely that Pog will be the only one riding the new TT bike. The rest of the UAE won't.

There are basically only two good, steep climbs to test sustained w/kg in this race (on stage 1 and stage 4) but tomorrow's is by far the hardest (and the best for Pog to create big gaps). It's a pity it's not one kilometer longer: we could have a nice vertical kilometer test.

Hilarious opening prologue. That's like what, 1.5 minutes downhill and then 2 minutes uphill?
Route design is actually pretty good, every stage kinda fun. Shame Pogacar is here cause there'll be no GC battle but otherwise pretty interesting.
