I imagine he will be fine this time around but he is leaving a smaller margin than last year with the pre-tour weightloss as he's targeted short power and muscle definition for MSR/Roubaix. At the peak of their powers the top few climbers would ride this at least 2 minutes faster, so if Seixas is who people think he is then I can see him skipping Roubaix in favour of the Tour next season, as there wont be as much room for manoeuvre.

I was fully expecting him to gap everyone with at least 1 minute based on Sunday.
What exactly is not clear?
@Krzysztof_O I told you a week ago that he looks like a snail but you thought I was joking, mate.

He was looking like a monster during near VO2max uphill efforts. Today it's completely pedestrian though. Let's see what will happen during the next few stages. It's still a possible after-LBL effect, Seixas pushed him harder than the competition last two years. If he's terrestrial till the end of the race then you were right.

I just saw how he was grinding in that video posted of his training on altitude.
LBL is a completely different effort compared to a real climb.

He'll be on five Tour wins if he wins this year, He'll definitely value a Roubaix win and completing the set of monuments over a another Tour win.

Well, he produced pretty yolo wattage during classics and i.e. Roubaix was sustained for a long time. Watts is watts.

Yes, watts is watts. Wonder why Ganna is not a top climber when he has the biggest engine out there?
What about Remco? What about Mr Van Aert?
