I'm convinced people can only enjoy cycling if there's someone being screwed over by team orders, someone who's a villain and someone who's flopping horribly. In whatever order.

Two weeks ago he was in Roubaix, he is overweight.
This race is his first mountain training. He'll try to win with the bare minimum; he doesn't need more.

You're making a big drama out of nothing.
Pogacar could be 3 kg heavier that he should still beat everyone else easily.

Yes, watts is watts. Wonder why Ganna is not a top climber when he has the biggest engine out there?
What about Remco? What about Mr Van Aert.

If Pogi doesn't produce any uphill bomb during the next few stages you were right indeed.
It takes monster effort from a 67 kilo guy to be kicking with big boys in cobbled classics. Big watts and 67 kilo frame will give you huge w/kg result. Unless he's 70 kg and we don't know.

Yeah. He pulled, then radio, now not pulling again. And Red Bull is pulling in G3.
I don't understand it, it would have made much more sense to have Lipo pull hard on the flat to not get Nordhagen com back. RedBull trolling all over again.
makes totally sense to me. This day is not really of importance for GC anyway, and Red Bull is in a better position for the stage win with 3 guys in front instead of Lipo alone. Especially with him pulling.

In my defence, my happiness that Pogacar hasn't gone solo is less anti-Pog and more that I am glad there is still a tradeoff between classics and longer climbs. I was worried that it had become a thing of the past and I'd expected Pogacar to win solo at 170bpm

Yeah but they are not gonna catch them. They dangle along with ca. 1 min44s back. And they were never going to catch them after the climb. Now they won't win the stage and threw away a big possible gap on Nordhagen.

Fortunato looking good for the Giro despite his 150 race day season last year. Last year he probably peaked slightly early though he did gift a stage to Scaroni.

Can probably win KoM again or a stage if Visma let him

Lots of cope from Pogacar fanboys

Jonas was not in top shape in PN or Catalunya either but he easily smashed Lenny and Lipo
He does not race classics, because he is too scared.

So when he becomes a man and starts to ride classics, you can make this comparison.

As far as I know he was destroyed in TdF for 2 consecutive years, and he only trains for that.
