Before the race if someone had told us "4 stages" we would have thought "demolition". Not at all, Lipo dropped only once (but a small gap) and the rest was due to bonis and the prologue.
For me it was a demolition.

Lipowitz was never close.

Pogacar even won sprint stages.

What else he needed to do, coming directly from LBL, heavier and tired?

So was he a snail or I was too harsh? Hehe
Obviously Roubaix and his performance there has nothing in common with climbing.

Pogacar actually looks nackered, what a weird race for him to schedule in immediately after the classics, I think it was a favour to Gianetti who is close to the race organisers.
Gianetti has nothing to do with it, Poga chooses is own calendar and just wanted to tick this race, it's simple.

W2W early results have 6.46 for 32 minutes for the pure comedy.

Come on give Rogla that confirmation he's not washed.

Lipowitz is in really good form. At the moment I'd favour him for TdF podium again over Remco.
Good form, but also not great. He feels more solid and consistent. But also nothing truly impressive as of yet imo.
Still you know he's a diesel and that he'll last and keep his level throughout.

Nonsense, the schedule is ridden in conjunction with his and the teams wishes. He did not want to do UAE Tour last year for example, he also wanted to to E3 and Gent but was told no by the management as a compromise for adding Roubaix. He wanted to ride the Vuelta in 2024 and was stopped to give others a chance. He's not a dictator, it was speculated that he rode because Gianetti is close to the race director Richard Chassot and promised him he would ride it one day.

Some people are calling it the most convincing unconvincing performance of all time.
That's the best description I've seen. He somehow completely dominated the race whilst also managing to look like Vingegaard would drop him easily.

Probably the least entertaining "big 7" one week stage race I can remember seeing.

I even like Romandie normally because of the beautiful nature and interesting parcour.

Disliked: Only two stage winners. No tension for GC. Weak field in general. Boring parcour.

Liked: Nice weather for once!

An easy comfortable win for Pogacar despite not being at his best.
Still baffled by today RBH tactics on the final climb.
Are they gunning for UCI points or wins?
