unlike another not to be named rider, contador is always bothered especially once he's in the leaders jersey

Has Contador ever lost a leaders jersey after putting it on, in any race in all his career?

Well I think he will tomorrow. Schumacher for the win, Levistrong is looking really good so maybe him. Contador for 3rd, or he could be poor like in Algarve last year.

Levi for the ITT win and Leaders Jersey.

And since Alberto could barely hold onto Levi's wheel today wheel sucking, Levi should be able to pad his lead on stage 5 and take Overall GC.

Unless Levi throws his chain - then all bets are off:(

"I had the feeling that Alberto was on the limit, but it was just a choice I made and I think it was a good one."

Epic implosion on that stage, but just as in the 2011 he keeps fighting. Think he was 2nd on the next stage. Legends have epic wins and epic losses.

Actually that particular stage made me like Contador a whole lot more. He showed he was human. Before that I was more like "somebody pls beat this mashine!".

Not in Grand Tours, but he lost the Vuelta Valenciana to Alejandro Valverde because he had a flat tire while wearing the leaders jersey and Paris-Nice in 2009 when he bonked.

He also lost the Tour de Romandie in the time trial back in 2006 and the Dauphiné back in 2010. That's all I believe.

Contador or Leipheimer... Contador or Leipheimer...Contad..no Leiphe... no..

It will be Contaheimer or Leipador, an evil fusion between the two. Imagine how that would look.

Pfft, that would be nothing compared to Philippo Gilbatto, he would wheelsuck himself to win any race from start to finish. Unbeatable.

Didn't Contador give the jersey away to Egoi Martinez in Vuelta 08?

He took the leaders jersey from Egoi Martinez on the Angliru stage and won the next stage as well. After that, he kept his lead.

Leipheimer looks to be in really good shape here (relatively better than Contador). I think Levi will win the TT today...

I remember thinking that Tondo would have such a good season after he won this TT, I even predicted him to top 5 at TDF :(

Anyway, according to Rasmussen, Schumacher will smoke this TT...

Don´t believe everything that Rasmussen says :p
I know I wouldn´t!

Levi will probably beat contador and win overall.

Yep I agree, unless Bertie cracks Levi on the steep parts tomorrow, but Levi does seem to be in somewhat better form thatn Bertie. If they had been in same form, Bertie would have dropped Levi like a sack of stones yesterday

Actually Gilbert does sit in a lot until he decides to attack. That aside, Gilbert is probably the complete opposite of Leipheimer, who does not have much of jump at all. Leipheimer could ride out front yesterday in part due to the head wind of the final climb which discourages the big-jump attacks. In short, he was far less vulnerable out front yesterday.
