Thanks!
His climbing isnt superior to anyone either. He's a middle of the pack climber with little/no tactical sense as seen in the 2 mountain stages.Dekker_Tifosi said:Landa will never win a GT unless they have NO TT kilometres in it or only a MTT. He is so piss poor at time trialling it's hilarioussilvergrenade said:And co-leader of Movistar Landa out of the top 10. LMAO
Nope, definitely not. He said he still had some prickly feelings. But during the TT it was really obvious when he started shaking his right arm.silvergrenade said:Oh...okay.Dekker_Tifosi said:He was shaking his right arm, he has nerve damage there. I suspect that is still bothering him a lot in TT. So there is a good explanation of this.silvergrenade said:Expected Kelderman to be far, far stronger.
Not a good performance
I hope he gets that sorted before the TdF.
Not a good sign tbh.
I don't agree.capuldemetal said:quintana lost 55 seconds to porte on a flat tt...not bad
Don't worry, Big Tom will be back.Dekker_Tifosi said:Fact that 3 sunweb riders did a better than Kelderman really tells a lot. I'm really not sure if he is ready for the Tour. With that arm problem in a nervous Tour peloton...

Good thing the Tour only has the TTT and one ITT. So in support of Dumoulin it should be ok.
The Blues said:Remarkably strong performance by Fuglsang. If he can finally combine his best climbing legs with his best time trial in the Tour, the podium is definitely not out of reach with this route. Astana just needs a noticeably better TTT.

Porte in fine form, just like the rest of the team.
Would be a real shame not to keep them together for the next season(s). They've presented themselves nicely.

Another discipline (with cobbles, wind, sprinting, positioning and hilly finishes as others) where Valverde will be much, much better than his two co-captains.
But to be fair, Quintana did impress two days ago.
Valverde, though, hasn't yet met someone stronger than him in a mountain stage this year, and I don't see why he shouldn't have his normal level in the Tour.
Just don't make him work for the two others, that's all I'm asking.

Who was the genius that said Fuglsang can’t TT?

He won't work till the mountains, and even then he'll go on attack I reckon, to put the pressure on Sky and whoever... He'll work for the other two only if he lose serious amount of time. He'll ride without any kind of pressure, and imo something special might happen because of that.

He won't unless he chooses to. The team basically lets him do what he wants anyway. He's the one going into the Tour with no pressure and no responsibility and the ability to race the Tour however he wishes to. Thing is, Sky made the comment two years ago that unless he loses 20 plus minutes they can't let him go otherwise he'll end up winning the whole thing. Also remember even if he does do some work he won't put himself into the red. He won't do that when riding for himself or for anyone else.
