Gregoire is a great punchy/hilly guy, not a full GC climber so this was always going to happen really, if he can conserve with the advantage he already has he can still do a reasonable finish.

I think it's also quite likely that he has relatively poor recovery abilities, it seems he's performing worse relative to the competition as the week goes on.
