Onley should never be pulling with Almeida there.

UCI points for a relegation team and he was right to back himself. Probably knew what his limit was and that he wasn't at it – he knows how he feels better than we do.Onley should never be pulling with Almeida there.
Yeah, could have been worse, but he still finished top 10.Alaphilippe not bad

90% sure. But he needs a decent performance in the TT. Riccitello managed to ship only 38 seconds last year. Pidcock 51, Skjelmose 21. This year's TT is a bit harder, and Riccitello is likely better than Vauquelin in MTTs despite losing to Vauquelin today (and might have been in better shape last year). But there is a universe in which Vauquelin can limit the losses. Unlikely though.Well. Almeida has pretty much won this hasn't he.
He doesn't know how Almeida feels, and pulling is still always a negative impact on his chances to win the stage.UCI points for a relegation team and he was right to back himself. Probably knew what his limit was and that he wasn't at it – he knows how he feels better than we do.
I agree, I don't think pulling made much of a difference beyond increasing his chances of coming second in GC. He went about 50-100m too early though. He clearly felt good. Starting the sprint so early was not a good choice though, but that didn't matter either.
Millar?Biggest win for Scotland since?
Plus for Almeida is that he should get some more seconds back tomorrow. The closer to 30 seconds he is the better.90% sure. But he needs a decent performance in the TT.
