O'Connor continuing Jayco's disturbing trend of GC type riders having one bad day. Its unforgiveable.
Been a while since I've seen Bob Jungels mentioned, he had it going on a while back.A wild Bob Jungels appearing in 21st.
If he does a decent TT, i think only O'Connor can take him. Taking the '23 Giro MTT as reference, you can see he is barely worse than Van Wilder and Riccitello on a climbing TT, and no need to mention Gall going by last year's result:Nah, Gall is still behind him. Van Wilder and Riccitello are still within reach as well
He's not continuing that trend.O'Connor continuing Jayco's disturbing trend of GC type riders having one bad day. Its unforgiveable.
Anything but black, please.back with the pastel jersey fashion again, if I had any say.
I'm baffled by how many teams has dark jerseys!Anything but black, please.![]()
Hot enough to get dozens of bottles just to pour over your head and body, and team typically wears white, but you choose the hotter of 2 colors..?I'm baffled by how many teams has dark jerseys!
It's always a sorrowful day when idiocy goes unpunished.
Today was a very very difficult day for camera crews for sure, some of the helicopter shots were from really really distant vantage points because of skinny curved roads,Does anybody know who I should contact to cover my eye doctor bill after having needed to dig my eyeballs out of my brain after all the times I rolled my eyes due to the producers needing to show Grégoire and other hopelessly irrelevant groups constantly throughout the final 20 kms of today's stage?

so maybe camera operator said, we are already here so why not take video of crushed possibilities and broken dreams. Many riders get really hot if you put the camera on them blowing up.
Everything to do with that,Nothing to do with that, they had cameras on the front group but constantly cut away from that for no reason. Even when there were attacks.
Everything to do with that,
rewatch any, every race for production value, they rotate cameras..
Helicopters don't only shoot lead of the race. All motorcycles don't rush only to the front to shoot leaders. You have limited cameras, you have a program director, he or she calls for moto to go to or change position. So someone in direction, thought that certain sub sect of fans would be interested in race leaders position, good or bad..Gregoire was of great interest for many days in a row.. Cameras often go to popular riders away from the action.. Remco, Roglic, Ayuso, all had plenty of camera time long after they were out of contention, out of the mix..
They cut away from the front because until the finish, that's what they think fans want..
Well that's just an homage to Pozzovivo obviouslyVauqelin rode on that weird Bianchi Oltre, but then again, they pros really get them at the billed weight and a puncher like him probably prefers the stiffer bike.
Someone might look into Gall's saddle height or cank length, those knees pointing outwards isn't excatly nice to look at.

Unfortunately it seems that Tour de Suisse doesn't have enough motos.Does anybody know who I should contact to cover my eye doctor bill after having needed to dig my eyeballs out of my brain after all the times I rolled my eyes due to the producers needing to show Grégoire and other hopelessly irrelevant groups constantly throughout the final 20 kms of today's stage?
Pozzovivo probably rode with too long cranks his whole career. The Swiss commentators actually compared Gall's riding style to Froome, now that's where I draw the line. Sure, his knees are out and he rides at a high cadence, but we're not a the "pushing a shopping car" style crime levels of Froome.Well that's just an homage to Pozzovivo obviously
I think they have way too many. They had motos on several of the single riders/small groups fighting near the front AND motos for irrelevant backmarkers, the latter of which they were very eager to show.Unfortunately it seems that Tour de Suisse doesn't have enough motos.
It's exasperating having semi constant coverage of the back of group 5 or 6 with guys who won't even make it to top10, instead of filming the action going on in the GC group.
You are fortunate to see the race, I would like to have followed Suisse more closely but all I have are the YouTube highlight videos and they are DREADFUL. No commentary. Random cuts, I watched today's because I thought it was going to be an interesting stage and I have never been so confused while watching sport in my life. That's what I'm saying. It was completely idiotic to show him THAT MUCH! Fine if we see him get dropped and a couple of shots after but he got 35% of screen time after it was clear he had no chance to defend. It was moronic to think that fans would rather see that than the actual GC battles and the Danish commentators agreed with me, so it's not just me seeing things.
Race production has been terrible this race which is a shame and impressive given that they're riding in some of the most aesthetically pleasing surroundings in the world.
And the motos certainly didn't rotate during the period I'm talking about![]()
