Oss again shows the fact that he really is one of the people Liquigas really needs to bring to the tour, especially if you also look at the spring classics.

tomorrow's stage should be more selective and interesting with the last mountain 6-7 kms from the finish.

Looks to be an interesting stage. Hope it gets up on cyclingtorrents quickly.

I have finally figured out how to get the d/l files on a cd that I can watch on TV rather than on a pc. Hurray for technology.

How is the quality on cyclingtorrents most of the time, because a lot of the streams I find, I have difficulty in recognizing the riders, so if those torrents are better quality, I'll consider them

But concerning the race, good for Burghardt and BMC to get this win. Too bad for Maaskant, but even more for Oss (for some reason I just like this guy).
Seeing the results, I'm actually amazed that Popo was dropped out of the first group somewhere near the end

I have always found the quality to be fine for std def tv. The trick is to find a file format that your dvd/blu ray player will play on your tv set. There are loads of free software utils that will convert a given file to the desired format with (almost) no loss of res.

Example: My dvd will play mp4 files, i d/ld the sw that converts the avi to an mp4 file (it STILL has the avi extension after conversion), burn the converted file to a cd and play. I did this with Paris Roubaix (movie by masterlink) and it was outstanding. Ya gotta make sure the resulting file is less than your cd capacity (typically either 650 mb or 700 mb, usually 700).

Note: There are no indexes, if you skip a track, it takes you to either the end or beginning of whatever you are watching, iow, you need to navigate via ff or rev. Sound was slightly tweaked compared to the sound on the pc, but

BOTTOM LINE
watching this stuff on a tv is a far far better than the experience of watching on a PC monitor. It's worth the extra time.

meh, rabobank reports Mollema fell ill yesterday.

Again??? Poor Bauke is more ill then he is fit.

Well, it could be that it has been bad weather every time he fell ill. He should just plan his season so that he only rides in good weather ;)

He should see a specialist. The diagnosis would probably be that he suffers from Tom Danielson disease.;)

Has anybody come up with any decent info on tomorrow's climbs?
The TDS site is shiite. All I can find is that dodgy profile I posted earlier......
