I’m just not that into races being decided by mountains.
I do watch some stages but when I do, I kind of look at it as an outdoor version of the Devil Takes The Hindmost to see those dropping out the back.

That seems like a premature judgement. Alaphilippe won yesterday, but he also lost 8 minutes today.

It's a pity for me we cannot watch the stages. I followed the live ticker a bit, and it seemed to be a lively race which Quickstep was unable to control.

just watched the highlights. When was the last time a rider was in the breakaway all day, caught, and then attacked again in the end to easily win the stage?! Very odd

Weird tactics today. Bunch give this (pretty strong) break 7 minutes initially, then Intermarché started chasing hard and took 5 minutes off the gap just to give them more than 6 minutes again. Too much imo, break will make it if it's just going to be Bingoal and FDJ chasing.
