Tour de Yorkshire 2020

Wow, what a route this year. A really challenging 4 days with a breeze along the East coast (which is pretty lumpy) followed by three days on some of Yorkshire's best road climbs.
Usually we have to wait until the queen stage from the Piece Hall in Halifax for the real action, but, after Buttertubs and Grinton Moor on stage 2, the day 3 route takes in some beauties ... including Scapegoat Hill, plus the brutish climb out of Todmorden and an early visit to Halifax for the Shibden Wall (carnage). That might even eclipse stage 4, even though that does feature some classic climbs, Goose Eye, Barden Moor, Greenhow etc.

Easily the best route so far in my book ... and not just because the route comes within a couple of miles of my house several times.
