So its ok to swerve and block like that when there was some daylight between them?
commissar decisions based on vibez
I thought Van Poppel was the last lead-out? My comment was about the second last helper.Van Poppel.

Made sure to drop back in between the riders behind rather than going to the side. A rather dangerous "ghost rider". Had the speed difference been smaller, it wouldn't have been much of an issue.Oh, okay, I didn't notice him doing something, but yeah, that was Pithie.

See for yourself:So, Van Poppeldid actually do something dangerous? It wasn't merely a matter of celebrating Welsford's win?
Ridiculous manoeuvre, you can see him look and then make that move. It’s unfortunate that you deliberately kill the opportunity of someone else.See for yourself:View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85f6e1eHKgw
Not a bad guess.Menglers Hill looks about 6km from the finish which is downhill. I think the sprinters will be in touch and Welsford will have too much power for the other sprinters.
But Stage 3 and Pound Reserve looks a different kettle of fish.
I agree. The same with what MVDP once did for Philipsen towards Girmay in TDF 2023. Just because it's someone else making the move, doesn't mean it doesn't have an effect on the outcome for his teammate. There should be a rule that the entire team gets moved to last place in an incident like this.
Van Poppel looks over his shoulder and clearly does it on purpose. Just filthy from Bora.
I agree. Cav had a lot of wins due to perfect but dirty leadout from RenshawThere should be a rule that the entire team gets moved to last place in an incident like this.
