bush league. he should be dsq'd or something.
So its ok to swerve and block like that when there was some daylight between them?

commissar decisions based on vibez

Yeah, it's ridiculous, and there's nothing really to do, because you can't punish Welsford for it.

Oh, okay, I didn't notice him doing something, but yeah, that was Pithie.
Made sure to drop back in between the riders behind rather than going to the side. A rather dangerous "ghost rider". Had the speed difference been smaller, it wouldn't have been much of an issue.

Yes. That was a move which perfectly deserved a yellow card
He was relegeated to the last place and I think he will get a yellow card.

Impressed by Arne Marit who didn't have a good performance neither on stage 1 nor on the crit. Let's hope this means he has improved a bit after a crash-marred 2024 season.

Also Zimmerman repeating last year strategy, taking some bonus seconds. Tomorrow could be a good chance for Busatto.

There should be a rule that the entire team gets moved to last place in an incident like this.

Van Poppel looks over his shoulder and clearly does it on purpose. Just filthy from Bora.
I agree. The same with what MVDP once did for Philipsen towards Girmay in TDF 2023. Just because it's someone else making the move, doesn't mean it doesn't have an effect on the outcome for his teammate.

Relegation of DvP not gonna cut it, he secured win for his teammate and nobody cares about relegation of leadout. That's what Mvdp was doing at last years TDF. System is broken for this, you have to relegate main sprinter of a team for leadout's behavour. Then sprints will be safer.
