I haven't been following this news too closely, but wasn't the cause of the break up that Lotto wanted a more Belgian-profile for their squad? Teaming up with FDJeux seems counterintuitive to that.

I've been thinking the same thing already.
Still, I'm not the one who makes up that stuff :). The times they are a-changin', that much is true.

I wonder whether Bruyneel might try to sign JVDB next yr if he can attract a new team/ stay with Radioshack and OPL disbands, they shall have to get rid of some riders and Bruyneel could swoop. And he sure as hell makes some good ITT riders

hopefully bruyneel has nothing to do with cycling after radioshack :)
one can dream right ?

Anywho, I'll say it again, Hitch baits because he is jealous of our greatness ;)

I did not respond to D_T's post because I did not see it. However, I do see your constant baiting or underhanded remarks - mostly directed at the Dutchies - in several posts/threads. Recently I saw a post where D_T basically told you to let him be and stop referring to him or his posts every single time. He seemed genuinely disturbed by that. I can see the irony in all of that, but it stuck with me nonetheless. That is the point which you have managed to miss, unsurprisingly of course.

This is ridiculous.

First of all it should be pointed out to you that your friends have far bigger problems with several other posters, and you are the only Dutch poster on here with whom i have had anything other than friendly discussions with.

So stop this whole "hitch the endemy of the dutchies" idea right now.

Secondly your posts towards me have been most unpleasant.

In this case you complain with ad hominems that i am responding to a post directed at me. What was so horrible about my post? it was a carbon copy of what Dekker wrote to me in the first place. Can i really not respond to a post showing Samu losing, with one showing him winning?

You then proceed to defend this cretinous reaction, despite the fact that you clearly know very little about this forum.

You are not a mod. You do not decide what posts i can and cannot respond to, and i will not be told that posts comparing 2 riders results are only kosher if made by someone of the same nationality as you.

Nevermind that the discussion between me and Dekker was once again, friendly.

Before that, you made other such posts against me, often worded similarly and with the same adhominems.

If you looked beyond Gesink threads you would notice that I behave the same way towards other riders. 99% of my posts have nothing to do with Dutchies so i would appreciate it if you stopped these idiotic attacks about how i dedicate my life to attacking them.

As for when Ruben said i was annoying him that was a one off silly post which i apologised for.

And yet 30 minutes later he was back to baiting me with smileys.

If you hate me this much there is an ignore function, (see the "about the forum"section) after which you will be free to read 20 pages of Pistolero Bavarian Ryder and ryo hazuki exchanges safe in the knowledge that all hate has evaporated from the forum:rolleyes:

The fact that we have butted heads so often is your own fault. I have no problem with calling you out on some of the borderline *** stuff - either unintentionally or for "banter" purposes - you post on this forum and you don’t like it. I fail to see how that is my problem. Thus, save your Hitch-fits for someone who cares.

It seems you lack the ability to read properly. I clearly stated that that post might not have been the best example to use but that is beside the point which you STILL choose to miss. Often you like to play the victim but I don’t buy it. I see straight through that facade and you can’t deal wit it.

I love this post to be honest. It clearly displays your blatant ignorance.
First of all, I am not Dutch having stated this several times, but I guess being presumptuos is a recurring theme with you.
Secondly, in the same way that you are getting your panties in a twist because I called you out on the nuisances you post because you have a right to it counts for me as well. I can give my opinion about a post I oppose to, you do not make those decisions for me.

The Hitch said:

I’m sure you thought that as well the last time he clearly told you to back off. However, once more, you conveniently display your ability to forget and be a consummate ignorant.

Ths post is rather ironic don’t you think. Now you can know how D_T felt with the aforementioned post. It's annoying, get it now? Good. ;)

Again, you do not decide that for me. I based my comments on observations I have made during the course of my membership here.
These "attacks" as you like to call them, again victimizing yourself, will stop as soon as your idiotic posts stop. I call it like I see it. You clearly have a problem with facts.

The Hitch said:

Good on you. Seems my posts have not been in vain then. Let’s see how long that lasts.

I don’t hate you, I hate what you post sometimes. You can ignore me as well you know. ;)

Spine Concept definitely isn't a troll. Reasonable guy, maybe a little too reasonable for an internet forum.

I don't think anyone is trolling, just misinterpretation and opinions.

I'm just opinionated, and I call it like I see it. I know that's not always the best approach, but what can I say, that's just the way I am. I don't mind being labelled a troll by those who feel threatened by this.

Personally i like opinionated and passionate posters, good for discussion.

Hitch is a good guy tho. Like I said, probably misinterpretations (not only on your behalf). Lot of inside jokes I guess, Hitch always baits us. I think we just basically ignore it now (don't worry I have bitten bait so many times, I look like a fool most of the time, but my pride wont let it go, so I can understand the reactions)

I'm sure he's a good guy and that there have been misinterpretations on my side as well. I tend to go out all guns blazing, which comes back to bite me in the a*s sometimes.

Come on Timmy, I dont even bait you anymore :p

You dont really fall for it so theres no point.Well not my ones anyway, i see you getting trolled by El Pickle quite a lot.

Dekker T's far easier to bait because he does it a lot himself so its all in the game.

We are waiting for Thomas Dekker to come back.

That will provide some epic opportunities.

El Pickle is stubborn. Very.
Even when he is clearly wrong (97.7% of the time) he does not accept it.

I respect it tho, because I too am stubborn.

positive signs by gesink. His riding style looked the best I've seen him in a while.

After intense altitude training, he should be at his best in july. I hope so anyway.

JVDB also very good today.

They will be a close thing.

After saving himself it's only logical he does better :p And I'm quoting you D_T
'Who cares what Gesink does today ':p

Dekker_Tifosi said:
who really cares?

Even if Gesink wins tomorrow the others can say he was too far back in the gc so they didn't care. And we still don't know if it was worth something
And if Gesink sucks they'll say it was planned and the altitude training in st moritz will be used to fix him up for the tour..

so what we got to focus on, is wether Wiggins will crack tomorrow or not. I expect J-Rod to attack like mad and Vandenbroeck to react to 99% of the attacks

Dekker might be returning with Garmin... Or at least that's the latest gossip. Add Vaughters to that mix and we should be able to blow a fifty-amp fuse.

Agreed. It was more than I expected to be honest. He went for it 3 times. He looked good as well. His facial expression has always been deceiving, I remember thinking he would get dropped at the Vuelta on numerous occasions, yet he did the opposite and placed an attack. Now that he's shown that it's all good he can go back to chillaxing for the rest of the Dauphine if that's in his prep plans. :D

I'd rather see him take it easy tomorrow. This was a sufficient test.

Can't wait for the tour :D

Mollema destroying suisse is enough for me :p
