From the few bits and pieces I can find, it seems Tiernan-Lock attacked in the closing few kms, and then the crash in the peloton helped him stay away.

Really happy with JTL's perfomance before the TOB had never really heard of him but he was sensational there outclimbing and riding all the top protour riders and smashing his way to the KOM. Looks like a really big potential (even @ 27) and will be intersting to see if he moves protour next season (and where to)

It will be more interesting to see how he fares on Mont Faron, this looks like more of a 'lucky' win.

More like slightly fortunate in that a crash delayed the chase by a tiny amount.

He attacked on a climb with 3km's to go and soloed to the finish.

Sure, it's a good win, but this and outclimbing Boom in the Tour of Britain doesn't tell much about his capacity as a real climber. That's why I'm more curious about the Mont Faron, let's put it that way.

Surprised JTL didn't get snapped up by a better team as he was very impressive through Tour of Britain.

Unfortunately he's a victim of the British racing scene. As a climber there aren't many races suited to him. He needed a decent continental racing calendar to see how he performs on a regular basis. Looks like he's got it now with Endura.

I'm delighted for him and for Endura. This is a huge win for them.

Mont Faron will tell us much more about JTL.What would people consider as impressive, top ten?

Nice - judging by the Cuddles style victory salute JTL surprised himself there :)

Great start to the year for the Brits
