Startlist

From that startlist:

Astana

61 Murayev Dimitriy
62 Enrico Gasparotto
63 Valentin Iglinskiy
64 Thomas Vaitkus
65 Mirco Lorenzetto
66 Tanel Kangert
67 Roman Kireyev
68 Sergey Renev

I don't get it. His name is spelled incorrectly and he's not part of that team anymore is he? Or did I miss something?

There's something I would really love to see in a Tour of Belgium or Eneco Tour: a Time Trial on the flemish hills.
Something like Oudenaarde-Zottegem through: Wolvenberg - Kergate - Haaghoek - Leberg - Berendries.

but (from the Astana website)
"Pro Team Astana" has signed a contract with one of the most experienced cyclists of Kazakhstan, a veteran of national cycling, Andrey Mizurov. Now, Andrey is officially back in the Kazakh cycling team, "Astana".
Despite his training programs, he found time to answer our questions:
- At what race you are planning to take part, what is your program?
- I will start the Tour of Belgium and the Tour of Switzerland, and get ready for one of the Grand Tours

No, first stage is a prologue, that's it.

Nope, just a prologue.
i guess i was confused because i've only seen Knokke-Heist as the location...

trying to convince the guy with the car (my boyfriend :D) that we should go.

unfortunately, after many long waits watching TDF riders go by so quick, he isn't very keen unless there is something more than a blink-and-you-miss- it :(

Then go see stage 3 on the Kemmelberg.
Won't be as fast on 20% cobbles, and there's 2 laps, so double the fun:D

Well yeah, i want a course that is not doable on a TT bike, i don't like these bikes.
I would love to see the results of a TT like that.
I'm guessing guys like Boonen would be great at this....

Plus it would be great to watch, compare times on different sections, ...

Leukemans for the win in this one (I hope, really deserves a win)

UCI don't let Kevin Pauwels ride.
Apparently there's a rule rider's can only change continental team between 1st and 25th of June???

yep, but that's designed for roadteams... UCI doesn't give jack Shiit about CX

There's no distinction, unfortunately. Both teams ride on the road, so the rule applies. Poor Kev. :( Still, on the bright side we won't have to listen to his mumbling interviews! :)

It's shameless. According to his official website, Kevin had an authorization. The UCI can't keep their word.

And why are WT teams treated differently? Stybar is entitled to race !!

And since when is that rule? Nys could race the Tour of Belgium the year he was transferred to LBK ! (while he finished the cross season with Rabo)

Double standard.

Kevin's interviews? I just love them !
