If the Giro Dell'Emilia was on midweek, it would be like having an Italian version of Ardennes week at the end of the season. At least when the WC parcours is this hilly.

The race could be really split apart in those first 2 days. Anyone who wants GC will have to start strong from the off.

It's only around 2-3% so nothing too challenging. The weather will be the big the hardest test today.
