Camera work was terrible. Course though was very good
The Tour of Britain has long had problems with placement of obstacles - lots of overhype of difficult climbs placed way too far from the finish to be effective and so on in several editions - but Cornwall is a lot like Brétagne in France - lots of twisty roads, no real major climbs but a lot of ramps and repechos and very little true flat, making getting into a rhythm difficult and so especially with small teams it can create some interesting possibilities.

A few weeks back I was in Devon and Cornwall on holiday. Tomorrows stage should be a good one. Like you say up and down and twisty.

I love the commentators saying we have 'heavy roads' in the UK. It's a polite way of saying sh*t, poorly repaired roads by surface dressing and doing a bodge job.

Let's think outside of WVA, Ala & Hayter. Who else could take this?

Kwia
Jorgenson?
Honore? - Probably there for Ala

Today? Swift has looked strong lately. But it would probably need a bit of a tactical race, with a little group going clear in the finale.
Would love to see Swift win today. Hes been going great guns. But yeh I don't think Arkea have a full strength team.

Today's finish is in Exeter.

Always sunny in Exeter.

I can't see past van Aert. I'm trying to, but it just doesn't work out.

I'm backing Bjergfelt here, not only because he has a Danish sound surname, but also because he's a para-cyclist following a traffic accident in 2015.
