Absolutely. But IF the ToD ever visits Bornholm (it was close some years ago), I really hope they will use this route for the time trial.

If they use Bornholm, they almost have to make two stages there. It's an comprehensive trip for the riders.

Pretty good edition of Tour of Denmark this year, very close competition all the way to the last stage, with lots of quality racing.

I wish it was a spring race though, where the rougher danish weather is more often at play - it could be placed ahead of the cobbled classics as a warm up race to the spring classics season

The main problem wasn't really the amount of travelling. It was the capacity of the accommodation facilities and - according to Jesper Worre - a lack of will among certain branches on Bornholm to do what it takes to realize the project.
