Guys. We might be witnessing history: The first Swedish Male pro win since 2015! (Not counting National Championships)
(Or his teammate will beat him later on.)

Yeah, I fear a dejavu from 2023. Including Wærenskjold fighting to stay in it, but failing. Not that I thought that was a bad stage at all. But some suspense would be nice.Without Cort, I feel Pedersen and Skjelmose are about to clown the peloton in Vejle just like they did in 2023. Nobody’s got the punch to hang with them, so it’s basically open season. The sprinters — yeah, even the “I can survive a hill” guys — are gonna get nuked with time gaps you only see on summit finishes.
Four Lidl-Trek riders in the top 10?
One of the biggest problems with the Tour of Denmark: It's not the startlist quality as such, but the fact that the quality is often unevenly balanced. Like when Evenepoel destroyed the race in 2021. Lidl-Trek's dominance in 2023 and Team Saxo Bank's dominance earlier are other examples.Cort or not, Trek was always going to dominate this week. Their squad here is complete overkill for this race.
It's not about the race, it's about the TV company with the contract on the broadcast.Races that televise a TT like this should be taken of the calendar. Why have been looking at the Larsen (including 2 minutes of him trying to get on his bike) for the last 6 minutes when we have guys finishing or coming through the intermediate
Pedersen being 1 second down on the intermediate in his first race in the national champions jersey, would normally be all the fuel he needs for the back stretch - but when it's behind a young team mate you never knowIt looked like Pedersen started a lot more aggressively than Larsen, but even if he's gone out too fast he won't lose 12 seconds before the finish.
It's not about the race, it's about the TV company with the contract on the broadcast.
DR (Danish version of the BBC) is not used to producing cycling, they pretty much only produce the Danish championships and the Tour of Denmark - and nothing else all year.
It means you see different production choices to what we are used to.
Another thing is production is probably skewed to the nations that have bought the broadcast, which is probably a much more narrow selection of countries than for a WT race.

So... what you're saying is that DR should lose broadcasting rights, and the rights should go to TV2 instead?
