The vast majority of the population of Central and South America speak Spanish or Portuguese: doesn't make them Iberian.
Almost everyone on Ireland speaks English, right? Some of them are British, despite not being part of the island that is Great Britain. Perhaps it is not best understood as a very narrow geographic term.

Which also points out of how varied and inconsistent the use of regional terms can be. The Iberian peninsula is a more distinct geographic entity and the countries languages share similar (with some obvious exceptions), yet I rarely hear (ever?) someone say they're going on vacation to Iberia or refer to something as Iberian.

Didn‘t Lidl-Trek have someone who wasn‘t leading the race ready to attack? They don‘t actually need to make their leader do all the work.

He can't that day, the new kitchen doesn't install itself!

Not to mention it's a bit impractical to go to the Faroese Islands or Greenland a week before the Tour. (And a Grand Depart in Nuuk would probably be too much.)

Imagine having been in the break all day, and then Mads Frikkin Pedersen just rocks up.

Who's the one Dane who likes Pedersen so much he's emptying himself for him right now?

But it won't be like stage 1 where everyone from the early break just works with him

If Pedersen and Würtz Schmidt gets to the finish, it'll be a Mads sprint!

(Too bad M. Andersen and Landbo aren't there.)
