Where were you on the route?

Also am I completely off I suspect I might've caught the break in its creating-stage here?

Yeah. I know it's kinda hard to see as they're still some distance away...

@Readheaddane:
The photo is from the corner between Skovridervej and Carl Nielsens Vej (at the top of the horse racing track). It is the highest point on the lap, and the road is narrow, and thus good for nice pictures and a cheering crowd. Besides, I live 1½ k from there.

I think indeed your photo shows the creation of the final breakaway on Oddervej.

Perhaps I will spot you next year ;)

I use a compact camera that makes a shot every approx. 100 milliseconds. Afterwards, it is easy to choose the pics with action.

@R:
Besides, do you ever go the criterium in Kjellerup, Denmark? It is usually very action pack, due to the lap consisting only of tight corners, and a steep downhill and a very demanding uphill. Highly recommended.:)

Well. Yesterday is actually the first time I've ever been to a race live Not counting the time they wizzed by where I live, back when I hardly understood what this is about... I can basically only go to events if I can either ride my bike or maybe take the train.

Kjellerup is about 65 km from Aarhus, which probably would be within your pedal range.

This is Nicki Sørensen making the gap last friday:
