The Rabobus is unstoppable in this early season... good for Matthews... when are we going to start hyping him? The next Freire as Lulu said?

Uhm, didn't we already start hyping him last year?

Anyway, a great win by him and it really shows that he can really become a good tough sprinter. Although I myself would rather have seen Bos win it (I still remain a Dutchie ;)) But it does show how good Brown is in setting up another sprinter

Well, okay...guess I'm supposed to know him as a fellow Dane :)

He has always been a pretty decent sprinter in smaller groups, and after Bjarne Riis said that some younger riders were supposed to step up this season, I thought he was thinking of Aaen, along with Steensen and Mørkøv.

I remember Pablo Lechuga dropping everyone on Collado Bermajo (a selective front-group later formed after the decent) yet he still managed to snatch the win in the decimated group sprint. Vuelta a Cartagena back in 2009.

I hope the sweet memories of the climb triggers something within him and he puts on a decent showing. It would be nice to see him blossom among the professionals. As a junior he was right up there potential wise with Peter Sagan and Michal Kwiatkowski.

It most probably won’t happen though!

I am also excited to see Jordi Simon and Carlos Verona on the big scene as well, some of Spain’s finest talent right there. No need to mention Jesus Herrada as he already has landed his pro-tour contract.

Enough about the young guns.

Among the established names : Sergio Pardilla - Morris Possoni - Fabio Duarte - Steven Kruijswijk - Jerome Coppel. These are the five I am most looking forward to follow.

Nice to see the youngsters trying to animate today’s stage. Looking very much forward to tomorrow’s showdown.

Bos and Brown were both involved in crashes. Bos several times.

Was an slippery downhill finish... but the good news is that no one is injured...

It's been a great start to the season for Australians. Winning stages and/or day races every week so far since TdU.

Trying to scores as many points as possible for a switch to GreenEdge at the end of the year??? :p:p

Nice one by bling again. Allthough there weren't any real good sprinters in the mix. I don't think he will ever be a sprinter that will beat a Cav, Farrar on a normal flat stage sprint though.

When things get tough though he is one of the favourites. I hope they will let him ride 1-2 cobbled/hilly classics as well. I'm very curious how he will do in those races.

He's better than either Cav or Farrar was at that age. And he already beat Farrar once on a flat finish this year.
