Can't tell if the Omani road signs are deceiving me but it appears like Fernando Gaviria launched his sprint there with a mere 400 metres to go

That's never new signing Daniel Mclay dropping him off in perfect position*

*On the wheel of Gaviria
oh nice I forgot he signed there. Visma is doing everything for me to like them year after year, Jorgenson last year, McLay this year, the hope in Vingo to beat Pog
then I think about Plugge and I dislike them again haha

I think you've turned Plugge into something more than he actually is. He's not that important. Merijn Zeeman was, he will be missed by that team. Take away Plugge and nothing changes.

Idk, I think the sympathy meter and goodwill factor would skyrocket if Plugge were to step down.
Whoever replaces him would get the same treatment. People don't like the dominant team, in any sport. Visma were dominant for one or two seasons, they're not anymore, and you can already see people liking them more. Nothing to do with Plugge. Vaughters isn't exactly the most likeable character either, but nobody cares what he has to say as long as his team doesn't really feature in the grand scheme of things.
