He probably doesn't have the speed in his legs like the ones that have already done TDU and Qatar does so I don't expect him to win any of the sprints here just yet.
Besides this stage was dead flat and it wasn't a hard race, not like Qatar with the wind. So Hagen chances were already greatly diminished. The easier a stage gets, the harder it is for Hagen to win against pure speed.

It was close!!

Well... if that's Kluge behind Bos and Cav, then I'm guessing the Sky rider is EBH in 4th or 5th (hard to see if anyone is close out to the sides).

Wow, it does seem like Bos won it with the throw from that shot. You can see the evidence of Sky's late push, they have three in the top 10, and Garmin must have been caught off-guard because Haussler is way back in 14th.

T-Phin and TGAK sneaking in to the top 20.

Yeah. He must have given EBH a great lead out.
That could be seen as sarcastic, not sure if you mean it that way.

But usually when sprinters finish 4 and 7, it means one didn't fully sacrifise him the right way for the other, and kept sprinting for himself.

Cav tomorrow, surely

Would sort of expect Cav to get one, now that we know he's fit. The last km is an uphill though, looks to be about 5%.

Also: Greame Brown: an excellent man to have as a lead out, no?

Also: Phinney-obviously not all he's cracked up to be. BMC must be weeping over their poor judgement in signing him;)
