I am not too impressed by the official twitter...

I agree. They might as well not bother. Provided very little information and then stopped with 20km to go just when sky allegedly borke clear from the peloton.

Very nice job by Theo... Given the competition he was against this probably counts as his biggest win on the road to date.

Also my [REDACTED] team is very happy with this.

Regarding team sky, cyclismactu reports

,L'équipe britannique prend les commandes et tente de scinder le peloton par un coup de bordure.,

Not sure what this means? Ive tried a translation service but that just talks about splitting a ball with an edge blow.

It means they tried to split the field in the wind at the end.

Well, it means they missed the podium, for one thing;}

Cavendish a bit better earlier in the season than last year? Was he still having his teeth done at this time?

I'd imagine they tried to split the peloton near the end. The official twitter account said it was windy at the finish

They also note the the team's twitter if it's just one rider they don't recognize yet apparently, bit useless really.

Congrats to Bos. :)

Not a real fast man? Kluge is exactly that, a fast man. Always has been.

Glad he is doing so well on the road now. On the track he had already proven himself plenty.

Cav is surely going better than he was at this time last year, but obviously his form still needs some work.

Nice win for The Bos Man, he has a lot of potential as a sprinter, maybe this year will be the one for him to find some success in bigger races.

He is midling fast...probably not as fast as Kittel or van Hummel..anyway, we both agree that it is nice he is riding well.

From T. Phinney twitter:

Well, opening up @ 500m 2 go w/Kristoff n Murphy on my wheel...the sprint would've gone great! Except 4 the fans in the middle of the road.

and

We're ****ed but happy with the way the team worked together! @manuelquinziato and Schär got me to the front. Kroon kept me safe all day!

Anyone saw what Team Sky got out of their try to split the peloton? Boasson Hagen - where did he end?

He probably doesn't have the speed in his legs like the ones that have already done TDU and Qatar does so I don't expect him to win any of the sprints here just yet.

If he could get away with it, Taylor would be twittering whilst riding.

In fact you could make the bold claim that he's the biggest Twit in the bunch. :D
