With the benefit of hindsight - quite good. :)

The TT will be interesting for sure

Yeah, like I said earlier the outcome surprised me quite a lot. It really was odd like that.

ummm way to overreact you child

Clearly I was only light heartedly jesting with the pr comment, thus I said evans could do well on the cobbles if he tried afterwards. And I was posting my opinion, thus I said EBH is the best all rounder IMO. If you cannot handle somebody replying to a post of yours and not agreeing I suggest you leave the internet/forum.

And I did understand your comment, I was merely suggesting that evans hasn't enough done enough cobbles to justifly he is good on them (again I think he could be, but it isn't something he does. Unlike EBH who does attempt to compete in so many different areas of the sport.)

You made a suggesting about evans, and I merely replied why I disagreed. I didn't post anything personal or off topic, unlike you just did, where instead of mention facts and reasons why I'm wrong you cried like a little girl that I disagreed with you. Time to grow up kiddo.

@Ryaguas although I agree that petty arguments are pointless. There is nothing wrong with a bit of banter and friendly arguments with other posters, it is what makes forum entertaining. I don't come here to agree with everyone and discuss rainbows and what not :p

Ummm, I wasn't over reacting. You completely misinterpreted what I was saying and then you say I am the one who is acting childish.

I admitted fault yesterday when I provoked some people a bit too far but it seems that others on here can't admit when they act childishly and post about the poster not the post.

I said Cadel was good on cobbles and then you say

your basing his cobbles on the tour, then I guess schleck is a chance at pr this year

I never made such a claim tht cadel was a chance at PR. If you're an adult then you certainly aren't acting like one.

I have a gut feeling that Gesink will hold on tonight for the overall. First real tt for the year for a lot of these guys. Some might not react to well to the individual effort.

did you not just read that i said it was light hearted jest? Are you really this thick?
And that after that I said he could do well on cobbles if he tried but he doesn't. Please quote my whole post, not the selection that interrupts me in an incorrect manner, thankyou. Really do you just simply selective read? Again please only reply to my posts if it is related to cycling, like my original post was, and not because you don't like that I disagree with you? Thanks. :)

hey acf, remeber this;

Has a chance due to the parcours! Did read somewhere that some of the course is the same as last years which EBH won! Think he will take the leaders jersey!
Dont write of some of the others either, pinotti and vandevelde, although may not be a long enough tt to make up the time!

Just watched the Eurosports highlights. It looks like a lot of the riders were undergeared and could have done with 28 or something.

EBH really rode away from everyone in the last kilo. When CVV said he flew by he wasn't exaggerating.

Pinotti maybe. Vandevelde might be able to steal some seconds once he hits the climb.

Twitter is running and the times of the early starters are coming through. Hopefully with the finish being in one place the twitter feed will continue uninterrupted.

Timmer looks to be the leader so far.

Taylor Phinney should be back soon.

Is the order from last to first because if Timmer is leading then Phinney should be back by now?

EDIT: never mind I am being silly

The leading times so far are just below 32 minutes. That can't be right for a 18.5km TT. Even with the climbs they can't be doing only 36km/h. The course must be longer than listed.

We'll see what times the best riders gets. It may be that they can push the times down to something that makes sense even with the winds.

Poor Phinney... Two minutes down on Pozzato

Didn't think Phinney was going to do much in his first top level tt as a pro.

TP
Ouch... That was seriously painful! Had a glimmer of hope because the legs felt good, but the hills got the best of me in the end! 33:01

Right. Ok. Weird.

I guess form is more important today than having mad-crazy TT skillz.... I guess that might work in Gesink's favor. But I'm still expecting Hagen to gain the necessary time.

Okay, I've gone back to hagen winning the overall. If Gesink holds on and wins the overall in the tour of oman, I will have a pic of Gesink as my avatar till May. Deal everyone?

tbh, Gesink hinted in his interview that he really came to win the Green mountain stage. Anything in the gc is just a bonus. early days in season 2011 :p
