Flecha's bike handling skills are fantastic. How on earth did he stay on his bike?

He wouldn't have beaten Boom but without that incident he could have made top 3, possibly 2nd.

That, or an HTC mechanic will be checking the calibration on his tyre pressure kit tonight.

Reports are that Cav had a collapsed front wheel & a delay before getting a new bike

Odd. A pretty good HTC debut from him anyway.

I can't say for sure, but some riders test differently in wind tunnels. Ie some ride faster with 1 water bottle on the down tube, others, with one on the seat tube others with 2 bottles. So it could be that, or maybe he didn't care too enough about his result to ask the mechanics to take one or both off.

I read that Cavendish did a bunnyhop to get over a speed bump and that's why he fell. I wasn't able to watch the prologue. Could he have gotten over the speed bump normally? Or was he trying to be all badass with the bunnyhop?

There was a speedbump but not a big one, and everyone else seemed to have ridden over it without even slowing down. I don't know if Cavendish crashed there though.

The riders should look out for Cavendish. Not because he's a threat in the sprints, but something tells me he's capable of taking down riders
