No, Groenewegen didn‘t get back to the front, he wouldn‘t have finished 14 minutes down otherwise.

The point I made is the sprinters got dropped on the big climb which was to be expected and some made it back.

I mean there is this video, it's really on the edge, it seems his butt was touching the seat, hard to judge. But I don't think it's blatant and worth a DSQ though, I've seen worse from other riders. Kind of harsh from the UCI.
