Haussler didn't take the start. Must be quite embarassing for Dekker, to be replaced by someone who can't possibly ride this race

OK, seems to be tactical move by Garmin. World Tour event, you´re obliged to send 8 (here) riders, so they list Haussler and he just stays away.

Furthermore, I saw also Menchov and A. Schleck chose Sarthe over Basque Country. Can understand that, Catalunya was a hard week, and with only one week between Catalunya and Basque Country, might be clever.

Sky are going for Rogers in the GC, but Nordhaug and Henao have free roles. They'll hopefully be on attacking duties throughout the race while Rogers will wheelsuck and wait for the TT :)

Anybody in this race capable of dethroning Boonen on the UCI WT? :p

unfortunately there are just 130 points to achieve, Albasini might need one or two mediocre stage races additionally to finally get his long overdue win of the world tour

What's the Rabobank plan this week? Gesink, Mollema and Kruijswijk are all riding - is it just gonna be every man for himself? Got a couple of quid on Kruijswijk ew anyway, thought he looked not too bad in Catalunya.

Looking forward to seeing Henao. Have to say I'm going to be disappointed if he doesn't disappear up the hills in a cloud of smoke leaving everyone trailing in his wake. :D

The same plan they have every day, do nothing. But seriously, Gesink has the flu, Mollema and Kruijswijk probably can't time trial good enough to get a decent result here. They'll likely have one guy somewhere low in the top-10, without any stage wins.
