and henao is a real winner. when he attacks he doesn't look back to see where his teammates are like nordhaug in criterium
Nordhaug definitely didn't look back in Mallorca though, but yeah he screwed up bad in criterium. He's not really used to being in such a position and was probably quite stressed about leaving the designated leader behind. Henao is a natural winner, no doubt about that.

Either way, I don't expect too much of Nordhaug today as he usually starts getting troubles with his allergies at this time of the year. Unless Julich has fixed that as well :p

Sammu or J-Rod for the stage.

Sanchez won on this climb last year and Rodriguez the year before.

Possibly a small group of 3-5 over a group of 10-15 today with tomorrow's stage being far more selective.

Zaugg, Horner for RSN and a crowd favorite here, Frank Schleck, might make an appearance.

Rainy and hilly stage? For some reason I have to think about Mollema for the stage. But it's Rabo so more likely he gets second. Sanchez ftw.
Think a small group will remain and sprint for the stage.

Rodriguez has never won on this climb. Sanchez won it two years in a row (and will probably win again).

If Mollema gets second that would already be very good.

Sanchez has won this stage the last two years. His form seems good so he will be a clear favorite to win today.

I'll go with Daniel Martin ftw today.

Yes, Horner attacked, Sammy chased as did Valverde. They caught Horner at the top of the climb and Sammy got away on the flat....

Valverde didn't chase. Valverde stayed in the wheel of Gesink the whole climb. Then they joined Horner and Sanchez in the descend and then Sanchez attacked again and won

I just did not spell it out as much, but I thought Valverde jumped away form Gesink and bridged to Sanchez and Horner right over the top and onto the descent leaving Gesink adrift.....

Valverde did sit wheel as I remember and then aided Sammy by sitting up a little in front of Horner to open up a gap when Sanchez made the winning attack.

Valverde jumped away in the descend but never really got away from Gesink there. He did nothing on the climb but sit on. He did 'gap' him for the amazing amount of 100 meters in the descend but gesink got on quickly.

But when Sanchez got away, it was only Horner and Valverde as I remember.

A volley of attacks right before...or not?
