No surprise that the WT teams are dominating. I think this race is too hard for some of the younger devo squad racers.

that's because utah didn't invite the colombian teams, although they may also not have wanted to go.

btw what happened with acevedo in first stage? he lost time there. I didn't see it

Tour tracker is the same AToC platform but it's really crap... Video stops and repeats itself, the live ticker is pretty slow and wrong with the riders (I.e. it never acknowledged Acevedo was in the lead pack).

A Colombian team must have been invited: EPM-UNE is part of the top-3 in the continental circuit and must be invited to all races in the America's UCI circuit, the other two being Funvic (BRA) and Optum (USA).

Finally, In the 1st stage Jamis results were as bad as they can be: 2 riders with the winner time, Acevedo at 35 secs (I guess bad positioning in the bunch and got cut), the rest of the team arrived several minutes behind.

Edit: based on a note in El Colombiano, today, he seems to have been involved in a crash:
"De comienzo se formó una fuga numerosa y tocó batallar mucho en la montaña. El calor agobia y buscaremos recuperar fuerzas para el circuito de este viernes", dijo Janier Acevedo, quien está recuperado de la caída que padeció en la primera jornada.

Note that a mechanical before the 3Km mark would have take for him a lot more (and he would be arriving with several teammates as he's the leader)
Note2: I also checked the video and the peloton with the same time (92 riders) took 21 seconds to pass, and the first cut is at 23 secs, and from there 12 more riders separated by a couple of seconds

yes, 5:30 mountain time is in 3 hours. They've been doing stages a lot earlier but this is a city circuit so they're doing it in the evening.

Also note that it's so short (55Km) that I will last one hour to 1h15.
It's an 11Km circuit to be run 5 times...
I thought it was an error when I saw the route. Don't know if it will be so decisive

Mancebo, Cooper, Lewis, Voigt is the current break, gap growing. Jens to take this stage I think. He'll just keep attacking, again and again and again and again....

edit: Baldwin bridged up as well. 15 seconds atm.

the map has the wrong direction... Riders are going clockwise, but the map have them riding counterclockwise.
