I don't know if someone mentioned this, but Vicente Reynes signed a 2-year contract with Lotto-Ridley.
They mention that he will join VDB2 and Greipel. I didn't know that Greipel was confirmed to Lotto.

In belgian press there was no doubt he stayed at Lotto, good for him Reynes stays as well... it looks like Lotto will be the same team almost as was Omega Pharma - Lotto but without Gilbert...

When I was a teenager in Britain in the 80s Radio Luxembourg was a generally legitimate successor to pirate radio, broadcasting to the UK as an alternative to the BBC who had a strong grip on radio. If you wanted to hear cool music that didn't make the BBC Radio playlist, you listened into Radio Luxembourg.

I'd say it's more likely that he has an opt-out clause should management change.

It took him a really long time to sign with Leopard last year after he'd bought out his contract. I think he probably did a lot of negotiating and has ways out if he wants them.

It seems like the big teams might not have much budget left for him though? He might be able to bring in a personal sponsor or be willing to ride for a lot less if he's really unhappy with the Radioshack situation.

Cancellara had an contract in principal in same time like had Schlecks. It took only some time to announce him as a rider.. Cancellara will stay in Leopard for sure, he has everything in that team. Good team mates, good wage, solid domestiques and a DS and some other people who he wants in a team.

It's pretty silent around Rabobank. One real signing, two moving up from the continental team and two of their guys turned Green. Only rumours that I've seen that are still probable are Brown turning Green as well and Freire moving back to his sunny country to prepare for his retirement (and maybe cash some extra dough, although I don't he has a bad contract already).

I know Rabobank put their trust in young riders, but they haven't been particularly successful in most one-day races (and Langeveld is one the Green Man Group now). There were rumours that they looked into Gilbert (but which big budget team didn't?) but nothing serious.

As mentioned above, this year they had a team with a lot potential, but it didn't really work out in the spring season. We can't be sure that they have any podium or are even competing for it next year. (Or maybe Gesink starts peaking at the right moments, but that would be a first in the last 2-3 years).

- they have some pretty ok sprinters - and now have Renshaw to help them there.

- they have Gesink and Mollema who are both young and going to do great things in the future

- and they have some not bad back up for them

TBH I would think Rabo would be relatively ok with where they are

Breschel needs to get fit and stay fit, that would be a huge help to them.

True, but even then, it's the same as with the current Sky-line up. We don't know if Breschel will make podium. As for the sprinters, we can only hope that Bos will improve enough, with Renshaw's help, to really compete in big sprints. We haven't seen that of him much (if at all).

Of course they have a great team, allround they have one of the strongest teams, but for one-day races, don't have a real winner. They had Freire, but he's getting old and might move. Langeveld finally one big one-day race this year, but he moved. Of the rest, we can only hope that they will develop into absolute winners.

They might be rather save for GT top-10 places, they've got some excellent contenders for that.

Cofidis have been busy with transfers (but perhaps not the quality needed), Europcar have been talking big but nothing signed yet, I've heard nothing from FDJ and even AG2R have done very little

TBH in the cobbled classics, hardly anyone has a 'real winner'. Leopard have The Real Winner, but no support, and then neither Quick Step or Garmin's bigheads delivered. There aren't enough real favourites to go round, but you can do much without them. If Breschel can have even a passable season, the team will look strong enough, with Boom and Matthews (although he's young) providing alternatives in races. Shouldn't be forgotten that they made the podium at Roubaix with one of their domestiques - it's not all about your biggest name.
