You're wrong here in my opinion. Cofidis is a limited team, with limited techniques, limited staff, limited budget. They are a normal French Pro Conti team.

Taaramae needs to move a team to progress into a talent. He's wasting at Cofidis in my opinion, and he didn't progress much from last year ( he had injuries though but still ).

He needs new surrounding, new atmosphere of the team to progress. Look at Porte, last year worked for Contador. And learned tons from him. And now he's one of best climbers at Sky and will be rewarded with leadin next year Giro hopefully.

Taaramae will learn a lot from a new team - and he desperately needs change.

I remember reading from somewhere that their main sponsor - Cofidis extended the deal with the team to 2016 and they want to be WorldTour team again. That should mean bigger budget, more quality riders, better equippement etc.

But if Cofidis isn't ambitious enough then I agree, Taaramäe should leave.

Saxo, OPQ and Astana in the hunt for Fuglsang. Astana offering him shared Tour-leadership:

The three teams that Jakob Fuglsang negotiating with is Team Saxo Bank Tinkoff Bank, Omega Pharma-Quick Step and Astana. And immediately leads Bjarne Riis clearly race.

"Jacob's situation is as follows: 60 percent. Riis, 30 per cent. Omega Pharma, 20 per cent. Astana, "says the agent, and stresses that the figures together to give the 110th

This is according to Moreno Nicoletti with the fact that there are circumstances in the offer from Astana, which he still can not share with the public.

His ride on stage 7 was great but he went too deep for all the other days.

Let VAE have Fuglsang, and Kiser moves to Saxo....fine by me ;)

I hope Fuglsang moves to Astana or even better OPQ where he can get a free role in TDF. At Astana he might end up as Kreuziger though, so might be better at OPQ where they might be more realistic in their expectations, and gets Holm as SD

If Contador still wants to do the Tour/Giro double, then I don't see the benefit for Fuglsang to be with Saxo. He would perhaps get to ride the Vuelta as leader, but with what team?

If RSNT collapses, Frandy might move to Astana, and I don't want Birdsong on the same team as them again

Imagine if Nibali ends up at Astana, and then Frandy do too :( I would cry!

After all the money they invested in Nibbles, I find it hard to believe they would pursue the Schlecks as well.

Well yes, it would be impossible most likely, I'm just speculating on the horror it would cause.

The best Fuglsang can hope for in terms of GC leadership is a free role on a strong team or as undisputed leader on a weak team IMO. Who in their right mind would do a GT with Fuglsang for GC as their single goal?

Every rider ever is reporting on going to OPQS. And OPQS always says they have a good chance of hiring said rider. Most of them don't tho.

CAS does still have a chance of winning the KOM at the TDF so i think he likes it as SBS- even though they have had to deal with a lot as of late.

Chavanel seem to have a spat with OPQS management. How is his contract ? Would he consider leaving ?

Considering the ambitions of the French teams, Sylvain should be able to make half a fortune at one of those French teams. Cofidis, for example.

Edit: However, I do think he has a contract until the end of 2013.

CAS shouldn't go to any other team. Other than money, I don't see why he would ever leave STB.

I mean he's at a team with few leaders so he's got some freedom - likely more than he would get at any other team (other than smaller teams he wouldn't go to anyway) - and arguably more than he even deserves.

He's on a danish team with fellow Danes which also adds to his popularity in Denmark.
