JRanton said:I think people have just assumed that. Depending on how Kwiatkowski develops it makes more sense for OPQS to have him as their GC man for the Giro and Vuelta where he has a better chance of finishing on the podium. I also read an interview with Lefevere in which he discussed Uran riding the Giro and Vuelta.

Katusha and Lampre are my bets!!
Beech Mtn said:Any word on LL Sanchez? Is anyone buying him out of his contract, or are Belkin keeping him after all? I'd have thought some team might have been able to pick him up on the cheap, getting Belkin to cover part of his salary.

It was not the only WorldTour team interested, even it looked as done with another not spanish team, but finally it was Astana.
JRanton said:Ah yes, I've just read it on the front page. It's not exactly the strongest looking Pro-Conti team but then I suppose they're only looking for invites to the likes of Tour Down Under and California.
Drapac have picked up Jon Cantwell, Wouter Wippert, Jordan Kerby (Christina Watches), Jai Crawford, Lachlan Norris (Raleigh), Jack Anderson (Budget Forklifts) and Ben Johnson (ex Agritubel & Slipstream).badboyberty said:Only problem is without some major signings Drapac are not looking good at all. They're even out of the top three in the NRS this year. Huon-Genesis are the team that should be stepping up.

I think Lulu would have to agree to this, you can't buy off a contract if someone doesn't want to be bought off. And if Lulu doesn't have anywhere else to go, he's wise to just stay put and keep his mouth shut.classicomano said:From articles ive read earlier this season I dont think theres a chance Lulu stays with Belkin, and they seemed happy to just buy him out of his contract themself.
No. But Brailsford said 'at some point they're getting too expensive' or words to that effect, so I think we can assume that Uran didn't purely make the choice because of the nice kits, or the opportunity to work for Cav again.Ryo Hazuki said:do you know his salary at quickstep?

It has certainly been mentioned several times in this thread.
