Of course, but it doesn't say anything about next season. I hope he knows he has to train hard to deliver, and he can't ride good results just on his talent.

I'm not saying he will suck next year. I hope he will learn from it again, and will train like he did past winter. incredible talent

I'm not saying you say it;) I really hope he can reach his best form again next year, because he will give the ardennes classics and the GT's a little bit of spice.

Lodewyck will stay there. Seems to be Blythe is out.

Yes, it's Blythe who is leaving. I thought he had a contract with them for next year but clearly not.

Since I'm a strong fan of Darwin, let me say this: BMC will be significantly better in '14.

Anyone happen to know the date teams have to be finalized by?

Pretty sure they can still sign riders up until 31st December but a minimum amount of riders need to have been signed by 23rd October in order for the teams to secure a World Tour or Pro-Conti license. The minimum for a WT team is 23 riders and for a Pro-Conti team its 16 riders.

I would have thought that a team would be able to sign an uncontracted rider at any time (as long as there is room).

Teams can sign free agents without contract any time they want.

Yes, I think you're right actually. Sam Bewley joined GreenEdge in May this year for instance.

Think Blythe might have to take a step down from the top tier then. Not a bad thing for him leaving bmc but no-one seems to have heard anything about where he might be going

Some of the best young talents on the market (especially the total ace Mohoric, but Villella will surely impress) and Marcato coupled with Sagan is so good it's almost ludicrous!

I've heard rumours of George Bennett and Oscar Gatto heading to Cannondale. Bennett would be a decent replacement of Agostini, and Gatto would be a huge help for Sagan during the classics.

rumor said that both Johnny Hoogerland and Oscar Gatto are negotiating with Cannondale, but no news after that

Looks like they are still lack of money so have to wait the price drop:confused:, like INRNG said

the Inner Ring ‏@inrng Oct 17
@dimspace prices falling every day. Some riders were offered €200,000 in the summer but hesitated. They're now signing for €40k, UCI minimum

he only signed for 1 year because he expected to do very well and then cash in. that's exatcly what he did. I hope he refinds proper motivation again though because since the giro he hasn't trained at all and it showed. seemed to be the old betancurt again.

It was his 1st WT year though- he seemed ok by the WC.
How well did Henao go after his Giro???

Bernaudeau said that Horner wanted 750.000 euros, not that he'd offered it. Maybe misinterpreted by the Eyetalians.
