I was looking how many Colombians are new in PT and PCT teams for next year, thanks to the Colombia hype this year. Here there are. I don't count Uran, because he was already in the WT, so he doesn't jumped to a higher rank. I count Edward Beltran for Ceramica Flaminia, because it is a Italian team so he will ride a mainly European calendar.

WT;

AG2R: -
Astana: -
BMC: 1 (Atapuma)
Belkin: -
Cannondale: -
FDJ: -
Garmin: 1 (Acevedo)
Katusha: -
Lampre: -
Lotto: -
Movistar: 1 (Dayer Quintana) => not confirmed though
Orica: 1 (Chaves)
Radioshack: 1 (Arredondo)
Sky: 1 (Sebastian Henao)

In total: 6

PCT;

Caja Rural: 1 (Heiner Parra)
Colombia: 3 (Diaz, Pantoja, Paredes)
United Healthcare: 1 (Isaac Bolivar)

Total: 5

CT;

Ceramica Flaminia: 1 (Edward Beltran)

Total: 1

Total new Colombian riders in WT/PCT; 12

Good to get rid of Silin. Not evolving at all.
Weird that they haven't signed someone to help Kristoff more in the sprints. He looks like a guy that can win quite a lot of sprints when the big 3 is not there, but he usually looses out on terrible position constantly being by himself within the last 2 km.

Perhaps they expect Haller or Selig to step up as a leadout?

Probably yeah. Although Kristoff has shown himself to be much more than just a sprinter this year. I wonder if he can take another step forward in the classics and get a big win.

I'm guessing everybody at Sky has resigned plus 4 new signings. So who is going to be the final member? Anton?

Sutton, Knees and Rasch are all staying judging by their tweets about visiting Rapha in London to get their kit fitted for next season. Kennaugh, Rowe and Stannard are the question marks but you'd presume they're all staying given that we haven't heard anything yet. They may well just stick with 29 riders for next year so it's not certain that they'll be another signing.

If your uncle, Sky's team doctor, hears of any news, please let us know.

He's a mechanic and he's at BMC now so don't have much info about Sky anymore.

Apologies for the confusion but before this year's Tour you said he worked as a team doctor for Sky.

Is his name Geert Leinders given that he's had to find an alternative route back into cycling? :eek:

He can perhaps follow the Acevedo route into the World Tour. Performing in those American races seems to guarantee a ticket to the big league.

I've been told orica greenedge will keep him on their radar. they didn't sign him because the sponsor didn't want more than 1 colombian in the team next year. chaves also wanted a friend in the team (pantano or avila) he may come after next year.

Also Vicioso, Tsatevich and Porsev are capable of being part of a leadout due to speed (and routine on Viciosos part).

What about Galimzyanov? Not possible to re-sign him due to MPCC membership I guess?! Will he return to pro cycling at all?!

Do any of the resident Norwegians know where Sondre Holst Enger will be riding next year?

I am not Norwegian. However, he will stay with Team Plussbank.

Until August at least. Several teams are monitoring his progress.

Thanks. Yeah, seems a great talent so I'm sure there's lots of interest.
