If even these guys are starting to leave, and with Duarte rumored to Lampre, you'd almost think Colombia Coldeportes will cease to exist.

Chalapud is gone as well, he prefers to spend more time with his family back home in Colombia and will rider for Orgullo Antioqueño

Chevrier to IAM. Very cool signing, and a good talent.

Yeah indeed very good signing. He was very good lately as a stagiaire with TFR in the USA Pro Challenge.

So Viviani is seen as a cobbles rider?

Not sure myself, but I think hes a good rider for flat stages and perhaps a couple of "softer" Italian classics.

The classics he'll most likely ride are San Remo, Gent, Scheldeprijs and probably some week long stage races. With Swift, Fenn, Eisel & Sutton acting as lead out men he should get some good results.

I don't see Viviani getting a dedicated train in most races. Maybe the Giro he'll have a couple of dedicated riders.

They want low-maintenance sprinters. On about 70% of stages/races this year they had nobody that could contend. Viviani can get over the hills like Swift, and seemingly doesn't get washed away in the final corners the way Swift currently does. They're both there to get over hills and contend on the finishes that don't have pure sprinters. IMO.

Viviani his positioning is terrible though, he either needs to improve big time on that or he needs someone to help him in the races for that.

Maybe two sprinters terrible at positioning can somehow combine to become awesome at positioning.

I'm sure Viviani will be given two or three guys in most races, I just don't see them going into any stage races with a full-on dedicated sprint team for him. It would seem a crazy use of their resources.
