Their plan will be something like this..

Giro: Peraud
Tour: Bardet
Vuelta: Betancur

No room for Pozzo. But a guy like him should be able to have plenty of opportunities. Lampre is most likely, but Giant and both of the Lotto teams could use another GC rider. BMC as well.

About a week ago Bardet said that he, Betancur and Peraud all wanted to do the Tour. He also said two could go for GC and 1 could possible be go stage huntings, he added that he would like to go for the GC.

Unless Betancur if not fat none of them is a stronger gc rider than Pozzovivo! Not even Peraud. Bardet could become better if his improvement goes on that well.

Pozzovivo is theoretical gt winner potential, if he just learns to peak right one time! He definitely deserves more respect from AG2R!

Lampre should be a right destination for him. They need a leader for the Giro and the Italian classics while he needs a team that backs him for all this races.

With Aru losing an amount of time in the long time trial and Contador not planning to be at 100% a Giro podium seems at least possible!

I think Vuillermoz wants to have another go at Giro GC as well.

Anyway I can see both Peraud and Bardet going to the TdF again.

But Lampre looks like a mess now and i don't know if they have the money to built a team that gives Pozzovivo and Rui Costa good support in the Giro and the Tour. Right now only Niemiec would be a good domestique for Pozzovivo. It could work if they resign Horner and have him as a domestique in the iro and as the leader for the Vuelta.

Horner is a big part of that mess. I hope they don't extend his contract.

No he isn't. Will never be. He's a really good climber, but there are always better climbers around.

Besides, he doesn't have enough class to win a GT. Even a podium in a GT would be a massive result for him.

Aru is just a better climber, and rider, then Pozzovivo. And he will not lose a lot of more time in the TT then Pozzo.

Would've walked away with Giro 2012 if he had managed to have his Trentino shape at the Giro!

But that are just my 2 cents!

That's my whole point. In Trentino, he can have that form. But when the real boys are in town, he's just nothing more then 4/5/6th.

I have to say though he develops every year. But winning a GT? No way.

But i guess you are a Pozzovivo fan so not really objective;)

Obviously betancur is better than pozzovivo.only thing in what he is better is a long TT.

Send betancur to the giro. His fat could be an advantage in cold weather.

Giro: Pozzo, Betancur
Tdf: Peraud, Bardet
Vuelta: Whoever is fresh enough

Yes, let Betancur race as many races as possible before the Ardennes classics, if he`s in decent shape let him race those, otherwise let him race Giro del Trentino before the Giro.

So Team Colombia is really shaping his new squad. The following 4 riders are in for 2015:

Walter Pedraza 32 years old (well known ofcourse, former national champion. Good allrounder: can sprint, can climb)

Jorge Castiblanco 25 years old (rode for EPM, decent climber, good allrounder. But not a big fish)

Juan Sebastian Molano 20 years old (great track rider, not a climber, but a talented sprinter)

Carlos Maria Ramirez 20 years old (Good TT'er, u23 national champion, rouleur).

Josh Edmondson to MTN according to cycling weekly. Reckon that's a good signing as he should get a chance to ride a grand tour if he's in decent shape
