Nick Nuyens to Cult Energy. I thought he would hang it up. Not really sure if Cult will have a lot of success with their strategy of signing riders who are in the autumn of their career, but on the other hand they have quite a few young ones too who might be in need of guidance by the likes of Wegmann and Nuyens.

/edit: Just saw that they also signed Karel Hnik. That is a great signing and a very promising rider indeed
Race invites. With Nuyens they should get access to a lot of Belgian races.

Good for developing of Hnik, do you know for how long?

I read it on http://06.live-radsport.ch/details_3601/TransferKarussell_ProTeams__News.html

Cult has not announced it on their twitter though, which they have done for every signing so far

They newest news-bit I've been able to find about it is this
http://www.feltet.dk/nyheder/skelde_om_flandern-vinder_passer_godt_ind_paa_holdet/

(From Feltet.dk, which are usually pretty up-to-date about these kinds of things)
Team hasn't written anything on the FB page yet either.

Daniel will not be returning to the team. He is considering his options, may attend university.

Thanks, Susan! Sorry to have put you on the spot. I should have known better, if nothing had been anounced yet then certainly the Cycling News Forum, famous as it may be, is not necessarily the place to anounce such things. So thank you for indulging me - that's what I call a communications officer! :) (not sure if that's your official title)

Anyways, good luck to D. Klemme, whatever he may choose. It's hard to follow riders very closely on the continental level, especially if they race in Asia. So I don't know very much about his season. Cqranking doesn't show many results, but many races may not have been taken into account. He certainly showed promise with Leopard DT and a move to Synergy seemed like a good idea to me, making it possible for him to collect wins on the Asian circuit and thus making himself interesting for ProTeams. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. That seems to be the danger with the "Asian route" for young europeans - if you don't deliver, it's "out of sight out of mind".

No news on borther Dominic yet either, as far as I have heard. He seemed quite talented too, but will probably not have an easy time finding a team either.

hey Christian, have you heard anything about Kristian Haugaard?

Last year with Leopard U23 he had a long list of results, including mountain jersey in Tour de l'Avenir and he would have won a stage there also if not for chain problems in the last kilometre. This year with Giant's U23 was supposed to be a transition to the WT team. They said he was very close at the start of the year but no news either way so far.

Nope, haven't heard anything but I've been wondering as well... I think it's obvious he has the talent to move up but so far nothing has been announced. Cult could have been a good destination for him as well, being from Denmark. @netserk and @redhead_dane have you read anything on feltet.dk or other local media?

I found this article on feltet.dk, where they speculate about possible signings for Cult (article published on September the 3rd). They have been right about some of them, like Guldhammer, Quaade and Larsson. About Haugaard, they say:

"Currently riding for the Giant Shimano Development squad, he was supposed to get a professional contract for next season. This has not happened. Instead, swede Fredrik Ludvigsson got it, which Haugaard cannot be happy with, and thus it would be natural for him to be looking for new pastures. Cult seems like the logical destination, especially since the team will be based in Luxembourg, where Haugaard has been living the past two seasons."

Cult has announced 15 riders so far, but they need a minimum of 16 to apply for ProContinental status.

I haven't heard anything specific about Haugaard, but judged by some of Lander's comments, I don't think being Danish will make it easy to get one of the last CULT spots.
- Problemet for dem er lidt, at hvis de skal skrive kontrakt med mig, så skulle de helst have en dansk sponsor mere med om bord, og det tror jeg desværre ikke så meget på. Men jeg ville da gerne køre for dem i næste sæson.

Thanks, you're usually an authority on Leopard stuff.

What exactly does he mean by that? Tried google translate but having a hard time making sense of the translation

"The problem for them is that if they are are going to sign me, then they'd need another Danish sponsor on the team, and unfortunately I don't think that's gonna happen. But I'd like to ride for them next season."

Roughly:

"The problem for them is that for them to sign me, they should preferably have another Danish sponsor on board, which I unfortunately don't find likely. But surely I would like to ride for them next season"

In other words their quota of Danish riders is probably at the limit, and for various reasons the last spots are probably more likely to go to foreign riders. At least that's my take on it.

Edit: Or maybe they are just not interested in Lander :D

Btw nice translation as well RhD^^.
