Biggest cycling newspaper in Flanders reports today Lotto isn't amused at all with Vandenbroeck performing way below the huge paycheck he's getting. No kidding.. he's likely to earn a lot less in the future, or maybe even leave (although I don't really see that happening).

Funny cartoon (VDAB is were people looking for a job go to :D):

Might already be known but Inner Ring's twitter slipstream has Adam Blythe going to Orica-GreenEdge and Pierrick Fédrigo from FDJ to Bretagne-Séché.

They have the knowledge to develop a rider (see Aru) and he can learn from Nibali. He should not contend the GC of a GT in his first year.

they never developped aru. he was never part of any astana team as a youngster.

So that's identical to Lopez's situation.

lopez situation is far worse. he was trained by rafael acevedo. he's like the doctor ferrari of colombian youth riders. so he's better off at a place who know how to work properly and most of all intensively with him.

Do you think he's mostly a clinical product or a real talent?

What do we expect at Sky?

Nothing has been confirmed by them except for EBH's departure.

Rumoured to be signing Roche, Nordhaug and Poels. Do we expect any departures?

If not then that would be a squad of 29, 1 space left possibly for Konig to be signed as Giro leader.

I'm sure his avenir win was clean. the federation most certainly took no risks with that. but how much he can still develop we have to find out so in order to do that he needs the most perfect surrounding for that, which isn't astana. do they even have a good trainer?

Slongo. One of the best, no?

I have no idea that's why I ask. I just never noticed any talents in that team making it. even lutsenko while showing masisve talent moslty just sucks

Slongo is Nibali personal trainer not Astana trainer...

Not quite. He was the trainer of the entire Tour team this year, Maurizio Mazzoleni trained the rest.
Source.

Slongo was with Liquigas/Cannondale before and has trained Nibali for many years. 2014 he followed him to Astana.

Farrar to MRB-Q confimred ... oh boy

I anticipated him returning to the USA but no dice on that. I'm not sure that his career will turn around with MRB-Q but best of luck to him. The paycheck is likely bigger than Jelly-Belly or 5-Hour Energy could muster.

Yeah Astana doesn't seem like a great fit to develop further. We'll see...

Did MTN get a load of extra sponsor money? They seem to be buying up a number of bigger names than you would expect, albeit not exactly world beaters

Is it Bos leading out Farrar or the other way around? :D

Obviously Bos sprinting with Farrar on his wheel. When Farrar goes down he'll ensure Bos doesn't have any competition. ;)
